UALR cross country coach Milton Williams announced the team's 2014 schedule on Thursday morning, a schedule featuring a home race on Rebsamen Golf Course for the fifth consecutive season.

UALR was very well represented on the race course this weekend as two Trojan runners had incredible finishes at the Firecracker Fast 5K in town on Independence Day.

UALR sophomore Emma Dahl's season came to a close Friday night at day two of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field West Regional. Competing in the third and final heat of the 3K steeplechase at John McDonnell Field, Dahl was unable to finish the race.

For the first time in two years, the UALR track and field team will be represented at the NCAA West Regional this June.

A pair of fifth-place finishes highlighted the UALR track and field teams' final day of the Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championship, with both of those coming in the 400-meter hurdles.
