BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southwestern Athletic Conference recently announced that the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff runner Wade Garner earned this week's Men's Track Athlete of the Week award. Garner took home first place in the men's 800 meter run at the third annual Pittsburg State Indoor Gorilla Classic, clocking in at 1:50.68.
