Three of the top five female and male runners at the Delta State Cross Country Invitational hailed from the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff as the Women’s and Men's Cross Country Teams' dominated the top tier of meet’s finishers.

University of Arkansas Pine Bluff freshmen Ninfa Barnard (St. Croix) and Charles Johnson (St. Louis, MO) helped lead their teams to a ninth and eighth place finish at the Memphis Twilight Cross Country meet, hosted by Christian Brothers University.
